Bowness-on-Windermere, Lake District

Bowness-on-Windermere is situated on the water's edge of the famous Lake Windermere situated in the Lake District in Cumbria, UK.

Bowness-on-Windermere has many walks to offer both advanced and novice ramblers. The walks can be a long days hike high up into the Fells or much easier rambles around the lakes and down into the valleys.
